One memory I can think of about me and Lauryn is when we went on a family vacation in Tampa. At the time, that is where my uncle and aunt lived. I remember our family went to the pool and the first thing me and Lauryn saw was the slide! We ran to the slide so fast not thinking. We went down the slide together! Me in front and her behind me, holding on to each other for dear life. Keep in mind, I did not know how to swim. Next thing I know, we hit the water and my dad came jumping in to get us. Lauryn knew how to swim, but with me panicking we both were in danger. I miss her sooo much! & I cherish every memory I have with her.
The Lauryn Adams Foundation helps students across Louisiana. The foundation provides after-school and summer literacy programs, as well as scholarships for high school students. These efforts ultimately keep Lauryn Adams’s legacy alive.
